There’s an old saying that goes: When you find the job you were meant to do, you’ll know it. Nicole R. is living proof of how true that can be.
Nicole works as a Customer Service Representative at the Check `n Go store in Perris, California. Though she’s worked for the company for only nine months, Nicole has taken to her job like the proverbial duck to water.
“I came to Check `n Go for the main reason that I worked in retail prior to this, but it didn’t make me happy,” she says. “But I liked working with customers. Check `n Go is more geared toward helping people, whether it’s a short-term fix or long-term fix.”
During her job search, Nicole immediately picked out Check `n Go as a company she might want to become a part of. “I had seen Check `n Go locations and they’re everywhere, so I knew this was a well-respected company.”
She also did research online about possible employers. What she learned about Check `n Go impressed her so much that she said to herself: This is the kind of company I want to work for.
Her time in the retail sector taught Nicole that she enjoyed working with finances. “I liked working with money, working with money is interesting,” she says. I thought joining Check `n Go would be a great way to learn about money.”
Customers do more than just thank Nicole. Many satisfied borrowers make a habit of spreading the word about the superior service they receive at the Perris store.
Nicole can testify to this from her own experience. “If you put a piece of paper in front of me it might be great stuff, but that might not sway me to come in,” she adds. “But if you have someone talking it up, that’s more likely to get me to come in.”
Business is personal to Nicole and she believes what goes around comes around. “You have to treat people the way you want to be treated. I’ve lived that way my whole life.” It’s a philosophy that has served her well at Check `n Go.
