For Marisol, working at Check `n Go is more than just a job. As a store manager at the Check `n Go location in Riverside, California, Marisol’s normal day involves getting to know customers and creating lasting relationships.
“My favorite part of the job is being able to help so many customers. I love feeling like I helped someone through a tough time,” she says.
She says one of the most rewarding things about her job is having the opportunity to keep in touch with her customers even after they are approved for their loan. “I love talking with customers. It is one of my favorite things to do on the job. I want to get to know them and their needs to see which product fits best for them,” she adds.
Marisol believes she knows why customers keep coming back to Check `n Go. “The people that work here are what makes our business different. The way we treat people and the customer service we provide is what keeps this business running.”
Marisol recalls one particular time where getting to know her customer’s situation really paid off. “A customer came in for a payday loan to help with her mother’s medical expenses,” she remembers. “Unfortunately, she was denied. A couple of weeks later her sister came in to apply because, sadly, their mother had passed. The customer’s sister was also denied,” Marisol says. “That is when I told them about a co-borrower loan. They decided to apply for a loan together and were approved!”
Why does Marisol believe in Check `n Go’s services? “When you need the money, you have options to get it at Check `n Go,” she responds.
In another situation, Marisol remembers helping one customer apply for a loan that fit his needs. “I was helping a regular customer with a payday loan. I love talking with him, so one day we were chatting and he told me he had 13 payday loans at different companies,” she recalls. “So, I helped him add his bills up and he actually qualified for an installment loan. He was able to pay off all his other payday loans and has been successfully paying off the installment loan.”
For Marisol, this is just another example of how she is able to help people in her community with everyday expenses at Check `n Go.
